INCREASE YOUR MAIZE YIELDS UP TO 1500 KG PER HECTARE

Smart-N is a system for variable rate nitrogen prescription that identifies the ideal dosage for each region in the field. We use high technology multispectral cameras mounted on drones to quantify several crop attributes in a fast, remote and efficient way to prescribe nitrogen with superior precision. Make your farm smarter!

MORE SUSTAINABILITY

Lower amount of fertilizer residues on the environment

This is how it can work for you:

Through the analysis of multispectral images that we capture on the farm, Smart-N identifies the plant’s nutritional state and potential response to fertilization.

Smart-N also prevents fertilizer loss, since in those regions where plants can no longer respond to fertilization, or where there is nitrogen sufficiency, the fertilizer rate is lowered to avoid waste.

Save your fertilizer and save the Earth

We believe that it is not enough just to estimate how much nitrogen the established crop will need throughout its cycle to reach the targeted yield, but that it is also important to know exactly how much nitrogen the soil can provide to the plants and what are the field's existing limitations.

Complete and custom analysis beyond your expectations

We also consider data about the current and the previous crop, soil organic matter, localized productivity history, weather conditions, historical satellite images and several other factors.

With these information, along with the acquired multispectral images of the crop, we calculate for each part of the field the total amount of needed nitrogen, the potential yield and how much of the nutrient is available in the soil with unprecedented accuracy. Save time and make more money!

Effective and uncomplicated

By hiring Smart-N you will have a reliable solution, tested in several different crops and climates. All you have to do is provide some basic information about your crop and we will perform aerial data acquisition and make your nitrogen recommendation.

We will send you a file containing the data needed by the fertilizer spreader to perform the variable rate fertilization. The provided files are operation-ready, and we also provide all technical support you may need during the whole process. Simple and fast so that you have more time and profit!

“We used to apply nitrogen in our corn with fixed rates, using the same dosage throughout the field. Smart-N has allowed us to optimize the use of this resource, applying only the necessary dosage on each part of the field.”

Dirceu Gatto,
Fazenda Buriti - Unaí, MG

“I think the result was important, we saw that the area got quite uniform. Places that had bad spots were able to get more uniform through the urea variable rate.”
