We are a Brazilian company based in Santa Maria, RS, that develops technologies for nitrogen management in agriculture. Combining remote sensing technologies with the information you have from your crop, we make truly smart fertilizer prescriptions. We provide solutions that are easily integrated into the farm routine, increase the production by area and reduce the waste of nitrogen fertilizers, increasing the efficiency and sustainability of our customers' crops.

 

Auster Tecnologia arised in 2015, at the time just as an idea, when six engineering students decided to invest in the dream of living producing aircrafts. A year later, this idea was formalized and the company was established. In the first year of the company, the first fixed-wing aircraft are produced and the demand for mapping for agriculture arises.

​In the following two years, the company explored several markets, especially in agriculture, focusing more and more on developing complete solutions with high added value. During this time, we carried out remote sensing projects in fifteen Brazilian states, developing solutions for several different crops. An experience that brought us much knowledge about the sector and was vital to our success.

It was only from 2019, with the promising results of our intelligent variable rate nitrogen recommendation, that we established the current business model and visual identity.

Today, we are a benchmark for innovation in variable rate nitrogen fertilizer prescription. Our solution is based on intelligent algorithms that combine vegetation sensing data with information the farmer has about his crop, to provide recommendations that meet the specific needs of each field.
